In 2017, many CIO's will further integrate the various digital initiatives across the enterprise and install an executive (e.g. Chief Digital Officer) to manage a cost effective and revenue-generating Business and ERP Transformation (BET) life-cycle;
The objective of the Dutch VNSG ADM expert group (SAP user group) is support organizations to improve their Business and ERP Transformation (BET) life-cycle by organizing workshops and seminars in which best practices and lesson learned from relevant projects are discussed.
In 2016 the VNSG expert group has organized the following workshops; 1- An integration platform within a hybrid application landscape. 2- Business Model Innovation Management in a SAP environment. 3- E2E integration management in a ERP environment. 4- Innovation management in a SAP environment.
In 2017 the objectives of the Business and ERP Transformation life-cycle have been extended with; 1- Prediction based innovation projects (to leverage the machine learning and predictive analytics capabilities) and 2- Aggregated data lake (to leverage big data (e.g. IoT)).
In 2017 the VNSG focus group will also organize the seminar "Business and ERP transformation in de praktijk" on 13 April. More background information on the workshops and concepts of the "Business and ERP transformation life-cycle" can be found in the book "Business Transformation in operation(s)".
